Effective April 21st, the MTA will be raising fares for riders.
Weekly Metrocards will increase to $33 from $32
Monthly Unlimited Metrocards will increase to $127 from $121
As a reminder, if there aren’t enough funds on the card to cover the transaction, the card will decline the purchase.
Anyone currently contributing just enough to cover their MTA expenses should plan ahead and submit the form linked here.
Once your employees have updated their elections and payroll has been adjusted to match, the forms can be submitted to Admin Support for timely processing.
